April Scuba Diving Trip?? 10 Months, 1 Week ago	Karma: 5
Would anyone be interested in going on a Scuba Diving trip with me and the group in April. Where: Anywhere off the west coast of Florida near Tampa Bay Who: Any TAG Member, friends and family. Have you been diving off the west coast? Know a good dive charter?? Would you rather wait until the summer to dive?

Waiting until summer could be chancey, as hurricanes can pose a problem! However, April might be too cold for some. If we do Sky-diving in May, that would dig into our pockets, so maybe June?

What are the requirements for scuba diving? Don't we have to have a license? Or if there's a guide is it ok?

I don't know of any good dive charters, and have never been diving in FL, but I've done plenty of snorkeling! It's beautiful!

Hey Jen,
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I think we will be able to get a few dive trips in before June which is the start of the caine season. We may push the skydiving trip back to later this summer to try to even out some costs.

For scuba diving you have to be certified to dive and rent tanks, PADI and NAUI are two major certifiers in case you were looking. If you like snorkeling you will probably love diving.

Diving trips sound good. I will have to get certified. How long does it take to get licensed? There are a few diving caves south of Gainesville in the springs. Devils ear spring is beautiful. Also there are 596 reef of the coast of Florida www.thiswaytothe.net/reefs/ Check out this web site it features reefs and you can also find different shipwrecks on www.thiswaytothe.net./tides/shipwrecks.shtml
