Cousins Mark and Rob are on a fishing trip on the Sea of Cortez when they are shipwrecked on a desert island. With no food or water and with temperatures soaring they must survive on an uninhabited island until help arrives. Testing their friendship to the limit the two men drink juice from cactuses, eat raw crabs and share delusions and delirium before they finally escape.
